7 important questions during the AIESEC Global Volunteer project interview Deciding to apply for one of the projects at AIESEC is a thrilling process. However, how happy and excited if we have started to get a good response from the Local Committee there to conduct the interview process. On the other hand, we try to prepare ourselves as well as possible to answer the questions that might be asked. I have done volunteer projects two times with AIESEC and have passed this stage. I prepared many possible answers to the questions with a hope that I could answer well. Thankfully, the interview process on the two volunteer projects went well and I was quickly accepted. So that I no longer need to try applying for other projects.
From the two interview processes that I have gone through and some interview experiences from other volunteer friends, I found some important questions that were most frequently asked during the interview of potential volunteers on the project at AIESEC, especially for the Global Volunteer project. The following are 7 questions. 1. Please, introduce yourself! 2. Why do you choose this country? 3. Why do you choose this project? 4. What is your strenghtness and weakness? 5. How do you see yourself in 5 years later? 6. If the children/people don't understand any single words in English, how will you communicate and get in touch with them during the project? 7. Do you have your own personal goals about this project? The seven questions generally emerge as a way for the Local Committee to align our vision and the vision of the project that we are applying for. Therefore, try to answer truthfully and properly in accordance with your motives, goals, and commitments in volunteering abroad, most of which do not provide any reward at all. We wish you success in the interview to become one of the young men or women who have the opportunity to be impactful through projects in AIESEC.
